Community Facilities District 2006-01

 

The Community Facilities District was enacted by the Fire District in 2006 by the Fire District Board of Directors.  The Community Facilities District is a condition of Development that is imposed on specific types of new development occurring within the Fire District.  New projects included in the Community Facilities District are multi family residential developments, sub divisions, commercial and industrial developments.  The intent of the Community Facility District is to offset the impact of development, while allowing planned increases in services required by the developing community.  Funding from the Community Facilities District is designed to keep the Fire District within the operational requirements of the El Dorado County General Plan while permitting the continued growth of the community. 

Attached is the Rate Method Apportionment for the Community Facility District.  This document provides an outline of the structure of the Community Facilities District, including the Maximum Special Rates and Definitions.  While the tax rates are listed in this document, the District Board has adopted rates lower then those authorized.  The current proposed rates are:
